About Us
Makdam Nagar Health Awareness & Social Welfare Society is a Non-Profit Organization that started their journey on the 15th of September, 2011; the head office is at Mokdamnagar (hattola).
We believe in secularism and humanity and work in a non-political way within the areas of Birbhum District of West bengal. To improve both the socio-economic condition of the rural poor people especially farmers, women and children. From the beginning we are involved in our operations mainly in agriculture, extension programs such as development of fishery, goatry dairy, horticulture etc.
All these programs were introduced to motivate people, increasing the capitalisation of uncultivated land.

Our responsible and hardworking members are working for developing and empowering family, health and agricultural status of the rural areas
Vocational Training
Vocational training was provided to the school dropouts under our society with the help of residents and local administration.
Tree Plantation Program
The environment has an important role in our life, we are trying to save the environment by arranging different actions.
Save Water Program
The scarcity of water is a big issue in rural & urban areas; we started a campaign for saving water.

Every human being has their rights in society but due to some discrimination, they don’t get it properly.
Blood Donation Camp
Our members arrange blood donation camps every year and send blood to a nearby health center.
Food & Garments Distribution
MNHSWS NGO also takes an initiative to help the poor and homeless people by distributing clothes and food.
